Luxury comes in many forms. The most expensive car, most expensive watch, most expensive pair of shades and the most expensive pillow. It is a bit weird and shocking but the most expensive pillow in the world costs over $2800 and is manufactured by St. Geneve, an Eiderdown pillow maker.
The Eiderdown is reputed to be the softest material from which to make pillows. It is made from the down feathers of the Common Eider a large sea-duck native to the northern coasts of Europe, eastern Siberia and North America. Best care is taken ehile collecting the down feathers so there is little harm to the bird.
